This floor tool can be used to vacuum both bare floor and carpeted surfaces. It has an adjustable brush at the rear of the tool which can be raised in height for vacuuming bare floors and lowered when vacuuming carpet. The inside diameter of the opening is 5/8" front to rear on both tools. This floor tool is molded of high impact resistant ABS plastic and is virtually unbreakable. It has sufficient abrasion resistance to carpet fibers and smooth bare floors.
